In the clearance or relief grinding operation it is common with a high stock removal, especially when grinding the secondary clearance angles, which requires a free cutting wheel. However, due to the high demands on narrow tolerances and good surface finish, the profile consistency also has to be high. The free cutting characteristics of the MH-bond provides a good cutability whereas a small grit size ensures the wheel to stay sharp for a long time with less frequent truing.
NaxoClear grinding wheels are optimized for clearance and relief grinding showing high stock removal capacity combined with high profile consistency and excellent surface finish.
